UP MSME Policy 2022 refers to the Uttar Pradesh Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Policy of 2022, which is a government initiative aimed at supporting and incentivizing the growth of MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) businesses within the state of Uttar Pradesh, offering benefits like capital interest subsidies, stamp duty exemptions, and infrastructure support, particularly focusing on promoting development in the backward regions of the state like Purvanchal and Bundelkhand.

Objective

  • Encourages MSMEs to achieve higher quality standards by offering financial assistance for attaining certifications like ZED, GMP, and Hallmark.
  • Offers higher incentives to MSMEs setting up operations in the underdeveloped regions like Purvanchal and Bundelkhand, including increased stamp duty exemptions.
  • Provides capital interest subsidies to new micro enterprises, covering a portion of the loan interest payable, capped at a certain limit per unit.
  • Special benefits for women entrepreneurs including higher stamp duty exemptions.
  • Subsidies for developing MSME industrial parks and flatted factory complexes, with potential for infrastructure interest subsidies.

Any individual above 18 years of age, SHGs, Charitable trusts, Registered Societies etc

Plant and Machinery refers to new plant and machinery which help in Manufacturing .

Project Cost includes the expenditure on establishment and electrification of plant and machinery

How to Apply?

UP MSME 2022 Approval process​ Developer/ Promoter will apply on ​District Industries & Enterprise Promotion Centers​ Application will pass through multiple level of clearance -

1. District-level Committee

2. Project Appraisal Report​

3. Additional Joint Commissioner Industries​ Approval Now Application will move to DLC

1. Recommendation on the compiled proposals ​

3. Evaluation and approval of Proposals​
