Strengthening Monitoring & Evaluation Ecosystem through UP MSME 1-CONNECT Portal

The Government of Uttar Pradesh is committed to strengthening the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) ecosystem, one of the key focus areas in the RAMP. The RAMP Programme aims to enhance data-driven reporting mechanisms to monitor & track the interventions to achieve the outlined targets. This initiative will improve the effectiveness of schemes and policies, ensure accountability, and enable evidence-based decision-making to support the growth and development of MSMEs in the state. The UP MSME 1-CONNECT Portal is a unified platform for MSMEs to act as a digital one-stop solution for MSMEs in Uttar Pradesh.

Objective

The primary objective is to provide comprehensive 360-degree assistance to MSMEs through a data-driven approach. Further, Call Centers and a robust M&E System shall be established.

UP MSME 1-CONNECT Platform, Mobile App, M&E dashboard and Call Centre is being established. This unified portal tracks, monitors, and reports the progress achieved under the various interventions approved under the RAMP Programme. An online analytical interactive dashboard is also developed, through which information on the key Central/State Govt. MSME Schemes is disseminated, communication channel has also been created for the MSMEs to send their queries and requests for any handholding support.

Benefits

The major benefits of this intervention are as follows :
  • The MSME units will be able to view the benefits available to them from the state & central sector schemes, all at one place.
  • The MSME units will be able to register on the portal and register for the workshops / trainings under the RAMP Programme.
  • The aspiring entrepreneurs will get handholding support from the call-center to start-up their new business and subsequently establish their footing with the support from various government interventions.

Impact

It will not only enable the MSME units to access the information on the portal, but also enable the authorities to monitor and track the progress of various schemes in the state and interventions under the RAMP Programme.
