Capacity Building
Focuses on improving the technical skills of artisans in various handicrafts, ensuring they can produce high-quality products.
Provides training on contemporary design trends to help artisans innovate and create marketable products.
Soft Skills Training: Includes training in areas such as communication, marketing, and business management to help artisans better manage their enterprise.
Stipend: Trainees receive a stipend during the training period to support their livelihood.
Food safety and quality training: To protect and preserve the identity of traditional cuisines, ensure hygiene and food safety, improve shelf life and scalability, develop cuisine variants and promote GMP and GHP among producers, training is provided to entrepreneurs in the ODOC sector through online and offline modes on the lines of the One District One Product training scheme via reputed institutions such as FSSAI, CFTRI, NIFTEM and FICSI.
Packaging training: Free training is arranged through reputed packaging institutions such as the Indian Institute of Packaging to promote adoption of safe eco-friendly, smart, export-ready and theme-based packaging, QR-code and nutrition labelling, and barcode-based packaging systems for ODOC products.
